David, Harold, and
Gene went in together on a 200 acre farm near Emerson for $45 per acre.
They put up $1,500 each, borrowed the rest at 4%. They applied the profits
of that farm to paying off the debt, then when it was paid for, they bought
another 80 acres. Subsequently they bought a furniture store in Plainview.
When Al wanted to move to Emerson to join Harold's practice, he bought
the 80 acre farm. The furniture store in Plainview was subsequently sold.
